The shapes are then filled in using pulled and/or drawn thread work stitches. The fairy is worked on pure evenweave white linen measuring approximately 12" x 12". It is worked in a 10" embroidery hoop (not included). As an alternative to the workshop, a kit with online tutorial is available to purchase now - click here

About the Workshop The workshop is limited to 12 persons, who may be working on different projects. You will begin by transferring part of the design onto your linen using the tissue paper technique (If you wish, you may ask for the kit before the workshop, so that the design can be transferred in advance). After stitching the coral knot and chain stitch outline stitches, you will learn to work satin block filling and wing filling stitches. A link to the video tutorial will be e-mailed to you after the workshop in order for you to be able to complete the embroidery at home or return to attend another workshop at a reduced price.
