Bug Box

Designed for my YouTube channel  in 2021, you may also wish to make a start on this project by attending a workshop.  The embroidery features 34 different stitches across the 19 hexagons, introducing stitches such as Roumanian couching, Ceylon stitch and Fishbone stitch. The embroidery can be worked in either an 8" or 10" embroidery hoop and is pictured here in a 10" hoop (not included).  The embroidery itself measures  17 cm x 19 cm.

I have used Linen Normandie fabric (measuring approx 12" x 12")  with Stef Francis pure silk threads. As an alternative to the workshop, a kit to complement the YouTube video tutorials is available to purchase now - click here.
