Chicken Scratch Mat
In this ONE HOUR workshop on each day of the British Quilt & Stitch Village Show in Uttoxeter, learn the technique of 'Chicken Scratch' stitch, which is made up of a combination of foundation and winding stitches. It produces a lace-like effect on this table mat of blue/green check fabric.

What you need to bring
Yourself!
All equipment needed for the workshop will be provided, including embroidery scissors for your use on the day.
Cost
£15 per person including all materials and a short video tutorial, the link for which will be e-mailed to you after the workshop.
About the Workshop
The time during the workshop will be spent learning the foundation and winding stitches. Full instructions will be provided as to how to finish the embroidery at home, including a link to a short YouTube video tutorial with a range of chicken scratch stitches.
