The stumpwork dragonflies have been designed by Cathy using organza, pure silk & metallic threads with beads to decorate. The work is embroidered on pure silk dupion fabric. The wired wings are worked individually before being attached to create the finished embroidery. Suitable for beginners to stumpwork, but not suitable for beginners to embroidery. As a guide, you should already be confident about working split back stitch, stem stitch and satin stitch.

Together with unlimited personal access to a detailed YouTube video tutorial, the kit includes blue pure silk dupion fabric, calico, pure silk threads, wires, beads to decorate, crewel & tapestry needles, colour photograph, stitch key and full instructions.
To complete the project you will need both 4" and 8" embroidery hoops, and embroidery scissors. If you have a stiletto that will be useful but not essential.
