Zari Jewellery Pouch Kit with Online Tutorial (Beginners)

This little pouch designed by Cathy was inspired by a visit to India where 'Zari' embroidery using metallic wire on black velvet, has a long history. We are using black cotton velvet, copper wire & colourful DMC threads, with liberty print lining. The completed pouch measures 15 cm x 10 cm and would make a lovely gift. It is worked in an 8" embroidery hoop (not included in the kit). Suitable for beginners but some experience of stitching will be helpful.

Together with an online YouTube tutorial, the kit includes all the materials required to make the pouch including black cotton velvet, calico, liberty print lining, DMC stranded cottons, copper wire, crewel needle, colour photograph and full instructions.
To complete the project you will need an 8" embroidery hoop and embroidery scissors
