Worked on pure linen twill with Appleton's crewel wools, Cathy's design for this bird was inspired by a Delft plate seen in Germany. The embroidery itself measures c. 4.25" x 5.25" at its widest points and is worked in a 6" embroidery hoop on linen twill . The embroidery features a wide range of stitches including Block Shading, Trelliswork, Turkey Rug stitch, Fly stitch, chain stitch, stem stitch, French knots & bullion knots
Together with unlimited personal access to a detailed YouTube video tutorial, the kit includes linen twill measuring approximately 10" x 10" with your design pre-printed, Appleton crewel wools, chenille needle, colour photograph, full instructions and stitch key.
To complete the project you will need a 6" embroidery hoop and embroidery scissors..
