Derbyshire Gritstone Sheep Crewelwork Kit with Video Tutorial (Intermediate)

Worked on pure linen twill in a range of Appleton's 2-ply crewel wools, this design has been created for embroidery by Cathy from an original painting by local contemporary Folk Artist, Sue Prince. There are a wide variety of crewel stitches including bullion knots, raised fishbone, turkey rug stitch, raised stem band, long & short stitch, whipped stem stitch, quaker stitch and French knots. The design itself measures approximately 11" x 8" (frame not included).
Suitable for anyone with some experience of stitching, including beginners to Crewelwork. As a guide you should be able to work stem stitch and French knots.

Together with unlimited personal access to a detailed YouTube video tutorial the kit includes linen twill measuring 20" x 16" with your design pre-printed, Appleton crewel wools on a Thread organiser, 4 needles including crewel, chenille & tapestry, colour photograph, full instructions and stitch key.
£5 from the sale of each kit will be donated to Alzheimer's Research UK, whose purpose is to find a cure for the diseases that cause dementia.
To complete the project you will need a suitable embroidery frame and embroidery scissors.
