Flower Panel Art Make textile panels using real flower petals on an attractive cotton fabric as a base. Then work your choice of embroidery stitches onto your completed pieces, to make up into cards, a mat or picture. See below for a photograph of the panels and cards produced at the June 2015 workshop.

Refreshments Tea & coffee is provided throughout the day, with home baking. Please bring your own packed lunch.
What you need to bring All materials and equipment will be provided. However, if you prefer to use flowers from your own garden, please bring some freshly picked flower heads such as primula, hydrangea, pansy. Fine leaves such as fennel, some ferns, grasses and acer also work well. A further selection of flower heads will be provided for you.
Cost £39 per person including all materials.
About the Workshop You will make one 7 x 5" panel and two smaller panels using a bonding technique, which you will then embroider & embellish, using a variety of silk & cotton threads. You will be shown a number of different embroidery stitches & techniques from which to choose. There will be time to make the two smaller panels into cards during the workshop (the materials for which are provided) and/or develop your larger panel.
