About the Workshop Your design will be pre-traced on freezer paper. You will cut the shapes from fabric and join the pieces together by hand. After attaching wadding and a backing fabric, you will hand quilt the design creatively using a variety of stitches, threads & beads, including gold or silver metallic threads. It is unlikely that you will complete all the quilting by the end of the workshop, but you will have the knowledge and skills to complete your work at home. There will be an opportunity to understand how to put together your own designs using this technique and you will be provided with a larger angel design by Cathy to work at home (fabrics not included) - as pictured below.
