Celtic Biscornu In this 2 hour evening workshop at Betty's, embroider this Celtic design using beautiful hand dyed cotton perle yarn. Meaning ‘irregular’ or ‘quirky’ in French, a biscornu is a small stuffed 8-sided object often used as a pin cushion or ornament, and generally finished off with beads and a button in the centre.

Location Betty's Sewing Box Cokayne Avenue Ashbourne DE6 1EJ (Parking at the premises or on the street immediately opposite).
Refreshments Tea/coffee and home-made cake will be provided, part way through the evening.
What you need to bring Yourself! All equipment needed for the workshop will be provided, including hoops & embroidery scissors.
Cost £20 per person including all materials and refreshments.
About the Workshop You will be taught the stitch and technique that makes up the Celtic design, and will spend the evening working the embroidery. During the workshop you will be shown how to make up your embroidery into a 4” biscornu at home.
