About the Workshop This design, worked on pure silk dupion, provides an opportunity to learn a range of embroidery stitches including jacobean couching, bullion knots, ghiordes knot, buttonhole stitch and cretan stitch. Each shoe is worked in a different stitch and we will work part of each shoe during the workshop. It may be possible for students to complete the whole design over two days, if work is done at home between the two days. Full instructions and all the materials are included for making the design into a drawstring bag (as shown in the photograph above).
